Bunker Concept

A defensive trench and bunker fortification requires significant preparation. The renders below demonstrate the process of bunker installation and concealment of a ringstand.

First, the site is excavated with a large enough footprint to form and cast the bunker. Layback must be included to prevent the excavation from caving in on the form or the trenchworks.

The form is then built in the excavation and the concrete is cast. Once the concrete cures, the form is stripped.

The trenchworks would be laid-in with retaining walls and an elevated walkway. The retaining walls hold back the earth while the walkway creates a platform above a water channel.

Once the site has been fully emplaced and reinforced, it is back-filled to conceal the bunker and trenchworks. The emplacement would not be visible to advancing infantry unless manned.
